Makeup artist and YouTube star Mel Thompson has passed away at the age of 35. Her husband broke the news of her death on Instagram Monday. Thompson died over the weekend, according to her husband. However, it was unclear how or what killed the YouTube star.
The husband wrote alongside a carousel of photos on Instagram: “Mel sadly passed away yesterday. We lost a beautiful person,” he added.
“I’ve had to answer so many texts of people just checking in on her without even knowing of her passing, he continued. It’s great to see how loved she was. And she loved all you right back. I’ll continue to love her and miss her forever.”
Thompson, who left four children behind, was the pillar of her family, her husband said. “The kids would talk to her non-stop, and she was constantly talking with them and trying to help them with their stuff. And no matter how bad she felt, she would still rub my back when I came and jumped on the bed next to her while she was working tirelessly to put out content,” her husband wrote.
Thompson had over 56,000 Instagram followers and more than 169,000 subscribers on YouTube.
