Actress Viola Davis just shared one of her best looks from all her photos taken in the year 2020 as she celebrates her 2021 Golden Globe nomination. The 55 years old award winning actress took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the gorgeous photo.
“My takeaway from 2020…..Let your light SHINE…..without apology!” – Davis captioned the photo. Obviously, she looks younger that 55 in the photo.
The photo was taken by photographer and Red carpet stylist Elizabeth Stewart in 2020. Viola Davis has been nominated for the 78th Golden Globe Awards as Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Drama. The Golden Globes which typically take place in January, is scheduled for February 28 due to COVID and will be shown on NBC.
She was nominated for her performance in August Wilson’s ‘Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom‘, a film directed by George C. Wolfe, starring Viola Davis and late Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick Boseman is also among the Golden Globe nominees for Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Drama.
