Recent photo shows parts of the much-publicized Donald Trump’s border wall with Mexico being severely damaged by monsoon rains. The damage took place near San Bernardino Ranch.
San Bernardino Ranch is a historic site that sits between Douglas, Arizona, and the San Bernardino Wildlife Refuge.
Pictures showed damaged sections of the wall with metal gates falling off their hinges. As a result, gaps are left in a stretch of the barrier in southern Arizona.
It’s not yet known if new president Joe Biden will finish the wall. But spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed to Tucson Sentinel that Border Patrol is working to repair the damages ASAP.
Much of Arizona has suffered from a severe drought this year especially Douglas, who saw record-breaking amounts of rain last week.
