A masked armed robber opened fire at workers in an East Harlem Burger King on Sunday, killing a 19-year-old new cashier, surveillance footage shows.
Cops have released a dramatic surveillance video that shows the thief waving his gun and aiming it at workers behind the counter. The tragic incident happened around 1 a.m. inside a Burger King eatery at 116th Street and Lexington Avenue in Manhattan. The shooting left the young cashier dead, and the thief only got away with $100 from the deadly crime, according to cops and the victim’s family.

Authorities said the suspected gunman nocked down a male customer and punched a female manager before killing young Kristal Bayron-Nieves, who started working at the restaurant for just three weeks, her mother said.
Cops said Bayron-Nieves was shot once in the torso and transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The video shows the gunman wearing all black with a black mask is seen ordering Bayron-Nieves to the register to get cash. Police said the killer, who is currently at large, fled the scene after the slaying and is now being sought.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $3,500 reward for the killer’s arrest.
