A Texas gunman is currently on the loose after barging into a hair salon in Dallas on Wednesday afternoon and shooting three women, according to local sources.
The shooting occurred after 2 p.m. at Hair World Salon, a business located in a shopping center in a district full of Asian-owned businesses, WFAA-TV reported.
An unknown suspect parked his vehicle on a six-lane road in front of the plaza, walked into the store and began shouting incoherently before opening fire on the women, KXAS-TV reported.
The suspected gunman fired at least four times and hit the three women, the salon owner, an employee and a customer, in their limbs. The shooter reportedly fled the scene in the waiting vehicle, police said.

The three victims, originally from South Korea, were expected to survive, and the suspect — who police identified as black — remains on the loose, according to the outlets.
The motive for the shooting was unknown, but investigators said there was no immediate evidence it was a hate crime, according to KXAS. The FBI was reportedly assisting Dallas Police in the investigation.
