The Wyoming coroner who revealed that Gabby Petito was strangled to death was reportedly harassed with threats and homophobic slurs when a hacker gained access to a reporter’s account during the press conference.
“Someone hacked my name on the coroner’s chat and asked horrible things I’m told. That wasn’t me,” NewsNationNow reporter Brian Entin said on Twitter after the incident. “It was in the chat section where questions were typed.”
According to the coroner’s office, at least four people gained access into the Zoom presser using his name. However, the person who was behind the vile hack hasn’t been apprehended yet.

Entin’s account sent multiple messages to Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue, asking him to unmute his microphone during the virtual event, the Sun reports. After the request was dismissed, the alleged hacker wrote, “UNMUTE ME YOU BALD C—.”

The impersonator continued his deranged attacks, including threats.
“I’m gonna sue you f—- c—t” and “Hope you get homicided [sic] you f—-t,” the messages read, the Sun report.
Entin has been covering Gabby’s case from outside Brian Laundrie’s parents’ home in Florida since last month. Although her death has been ruled a homicide, Gabby’s cause of death was not revealed until Tuesday afternoon when Blue briefed members of the media on the results.

After Gabby’s cause of death was announced, Dog the bounty hunter has urged Brian to surrender, saying the result makes him look guilty.
