New Hampshire authorities have apprehended the father of missing 7-year-old Harmony Montgomery, who was reported missing last week after last being seen two years ago. 31-year-old Adam Montgomery was arrested on January 4, 2022, in Manchester, in connection with a 2019 assault against the child.
Authorities announced the news of his arrest on Wednesday morning.
Adam faces one charge of felony second-degree assault, in addition to other misdemeanor charges, including interference with custody and endangering the welfare of a child pertaining to Harmony Montgomery.
According to Fox News’s report, Adam’s arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday.
Last week, Harmony was declared missing after the adoptive parents of her biological brother had tried for years to reunite the siblings.
Upon learning of her disappearance, investigators said they found out she hasn’t been accounted for since October 2019.

Harmony, who is blind in her right eye, is approximately four feet tall and 50 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes and should be wearing glasses.
