The return of royalty. Coming 2 America is coming to Prime Video March 5! Amazon Prime Video just released a new poster for the comedy sequel Coming 2 America that brings together all the movie’s characters, both new and returning.
The film stars Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, KiKi Layne, Shari Headley, Teyana Taylor, Wesley Snipes, and James Earl Jones.

Coming 2 America were originally to be released by Paramount Pictures before the film’s distribution rights were sold to Amazon Studios due to the coronavirus outbreak. Amazon who acquired the distribution rights to the film for $125 million is set to release it digitally on Prime Video on March 5, 2021.
Set after the events of the first film, former Prince Akeem Joffer (Eddie Murphy) is set to become King of Zamunda when he discovers he has a son he never knew about in America – a street savvy Queens native named Lavelle (Jermaine Fowler). Honoring his royal father’s (James Earl Jones) dying wish to groom this son as the crown prince, Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) set off to America once again.
