Video footage, exclusively obtained by the Sun, shows American actor Nicolas Cage being kicked out of a fancy Las Vegas restaurant completely drunk. According to the source, the 57-year-old actor was rowdy and mistaken for a homeless man.
Cage, who won an Oscar for portraying an alcoholic in the 1995 drama film “Leaving Las Vegas”— was kicked out of a Las Vegas eatery as eyewitnesses at first mistook him for a drunk homeless person.
Before getting drunk, Cage had been consuming expensive whiskey and shots of tequila. An eyewitness told the Sun. In the disturbing video, Cage can be seen wearing leopard pants and flip-flops as he sits on a sofa while barefoot. The star got drunk to the point that he was staggering around and shouting while trying to get his sandals on.
A female staff then blocked him from attempting to come back into the restaurant. An anonymous source the SUN:
“We were at that bar at Lawry’s when we noticed what we at first thought was a homeless man completely drunk and being rowdy. To our shock it turned to be Nicolas Cage. He was completely smashed and was getting into a bit of a fight with the staff. He was in a really bad state and was walking around shoeless. Staff told us he had been downing shots of tequila and 1980 Macallan whiskey. He was shouting at people and trying to get into fights and then staff asked him to leave. He was so drunk he could barely get his flip flops on before being escorted out. He asked us if we wanted to come back to his place but he was in a bad way so we didn’t think it was a good idea. One of the regulars ended up taking him home.”
This isn’t the first time that Cage, who got married for the fifth time this year, has been caught drunk in public. The “Ghost Rider” actor was filmed in 2019 at a Las Vegas courthouse while drunkenly applying for a marriage license with his fourth wife, Erika Koike.
Cage demanded an annulment four days after the wedding, claiming he was drunk and didn’t know what he was doing. A month later, Cage again was caught on camera at a karaoke bar in Los Angeles, apparently drunk while belting out Prince classic Purple Rain.
He married his fifth wife, Riko Shibata, in an intimate ceremony at the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas. Cage was one of the highest-paid actors in the 1990s and early 2000s.
