A jury in Arkansas finds Josh Duggar guilty on child pornography charges. On Thursday morning, Duggar discovered his fate in the ongoing federal trial shortly after 10 a.m. local time.
The former reality TV star, 33, was found guilty on two counts of downloading and possessing child pornography. Josh pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Duggar’s friend, Bobye Holt, took the stand and claimed the disgraced star confessed to molesting several underage girls during a conversation back in 2003.
In 2015, TLC pulled the reality TV show “19 Kids and Counting,” which featured Duggar, over revelations that Duggar had sexually assaulted four of his sisters and a babysitter. Duggar later apologized publicly for being addicted to pornography and cheating on his wife, calling himself “the biggest hypocrite ever” at the time.
Duggar’s father, Jim Bob, previously testified his son had come to him in 2002 with the admission that he touched four underage girls inappropriately. However, Jim Bob, when pressed by the government, said he couldn’t remember everything his son told him that day.
Several members of Duggar’s family were present at his trial over the last week.
