UFC light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz has stated that he knows just how to beat Israel Adesanya, who is arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world right now. The fight is scheduled for today, Saturday 6th of March 2021, and it is one that has attracted so much attention. So, how exactly does Blachowicz plan to beat the undefeated Israel Adesanya? His new born son!
He claims that’s his secret weapon for success against the Nigerian-born fighter. Blachowicz’s fiancé gave birth to their son JJ in December 2020, and he happens to be their first child together. Blachowicz says his young son is all the inspiration he needs to defeat Adesanya on Saturday. According to him, his boy has given him a whole new outlook on life and fighting. He does acknowledge that fighting Adesanya would be the biggest challenge of his entire career, but he believes he can do it.
Blachowicz has humbly praised Adesanya, as one of the best fighters in the world. But says that won’t stop him from tasting victory. In fact, he is very confident he’ll end Adesanya in less than 2 rounds! According to Blachowicz – “He gonna be 20 and 1, this what I believe and that’s it. I know that he’s really great fighter, amazing fighter, one of the best in the world but anyway I got my time right now, it’s my division and I will stop him.” Let’s hope he can hit as hard as he talks.
