Alana Thompson aka “Honey Boo Boo” and her boyfriend Dralin Carswell are still going strong despite being criticized over their 4-year age gap.
Honey Boo Boo, 16, and her boyfriend Carswell, 20, were spotted holding hands as they took an outdoor stroll near her McIntyre, Georgia home on Tuesday.
The pair looked very happy as they were seen smiling and couldn’t seem to keep their hands off of each other during the outing as paps snapped their pics.
At one point during the outing, the couple was photographed giggling and playfully posing behind a tree.
The lovebirds were also seen snacking on some frozen ice from the local Frozen Frog store.
News about Thompson’s secret relationship with Carswell first surfaced in September last year.
“Dralin and Alana are attached at the hip and hang out together all the time,” an insider told The US Sun at the time. “He was quiet at first, but he’s like one of the family now. He’s just as fun and crazy as the rest of them.”
Honey Boo Boo confirmed her relationship with Carswell months later when she posted a photo of them on her Instagram page. However, she swiftly deleted the post after being dragged for dating an older guy.
The couple lives in the state of Georgia, where the age of consent is 16.
In August last year, Honey Boo Boo briefly opened up about her relationship in an interview with Teen Vogue, where she heartbreakingly disclosed that she doesn’t have any friends besides her boyfriend.
