A teenage Florida boy has been arrested after he reportedly threatened to shoot up a Pinellas County School on Wednesday.
According to an arrest report, the 18-year-old student, Antonio McClain, got into a verbal argument with a teacher in a classroom at Lealman Innovation Academy on Wednesday. The arrest documents said McClain threatened to blow up the teacher and shoot up the school, WFLA, reported.
Another lecturer intervened and attempted to de-escalate the situation in the presence of a class full of other students.
McClain was taken into custody and charged with assault on a school board employee, and disruption of a school function.
