The Netflix’s Witcher IG account has revealed the first official look of Henry Cavill (Geralt of Rivia) in The Witcher season 2 with the caption:
“Good day to everyone in Blaviken who told Geralt that he needed new clothes. And what will destiny bring tomorrow?”
Actor Henry Cavill first posted the two new photos of Geralt on his Instagram page Monday which he captioned:
“‘It may turn out,’ said the white-haired man a moment later, ‘that their comrades or cronies may ask what befell these evil men. Tell them the Wolf bit them. The White Wolf. And add that they should keep glancing over their shoulders. One day they’ll look back and see the Wolf.’” – From the writings of Andrzej Sapkowski.
Geralt is portrayed by Michał Żebrowski in The Hexer film and TV series, while Henry Cavill portrayed the character in Netflix The Witcher series.
According to Tomsguide, the season 2 of Witcher does not yet have a release date. Netflix renewed the series for a second season in November 2019 — before the first season had even premiered. The eight-episode season began production in early 2020 in London for a planned debut in 2021. But all of that was upended by the COVID-19 pandemic.
