Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Cody Bellinger underwent surgery Tuesday to repair the right shoulder he dislocated celebrating a home run in Game 7 of the NLCS, Los Angeles Dodgers Tweeter account made the announcement on Tuesday.
“This morning, Cody Bellinger underwent right shoulder surgery in Los Angeles, performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache. He will begin his rehab in Arizona next week and is expected to be ready to compete during Spring Training.”
Bellinger, 25, is expected to miss 10 weeks, which would put him on track to return by spring training.
Bellinger was drafted by the Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball draft, and made his MLB debut in 2017.
