The life of a celebrity is not an easy one, as they constantly have to maintain a certain persona, and address publicity issues every now and then. Cardi B is one of such celebrities, and she recently had to address certain rumors via her Twitter page. This time, it was about her supposed collaboration with hip hop legend, Eminem.
A certain fan took to Twitter to claim Cardi B wanted to do a collaboration with Eminem, which the Detroit rapper turned down.
As you would expect, Cardi wasn’t going to take such rumors lightly. She responded by tweeting – “I get off the internet and ya makin shit up. I haven’t sent no songs to no artist yet. Love his work and much respect. This don’t even make sense.”

According to the fan’s tweet, it is suggested that Eminem turned down the collaboration offer because she didn’t care about the hip hop culture or her craft. Her neutral fans were glad she took out time to address the rumor, as it had turned into a Twitter war between her loyalists. Nonetheless, the Bronx-bred femcee teased her fans about the guests she expects to feature on her upcoming project. However, she said she hadn’t begun sending them songs as at the time of her tweet.
She also tweeted – “Since they like to make up LIES about me cause their so obsessed just know this y’all laughing about this fake rumor but wait until y’all see these next collabs,” Cardi B wrote. “Facts…I left for one day and they was like deum I miss the bitch let me make this lie up so I can have a reason to talk about her.” Her new album is expected to drop later in 2021, and it has already started gathering some hype, thanks to her recently-released single “Up”.

The single has done its job regarding building up momentum for the album’s release. It just peaked at no.1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This is the fifth time Cardi B will have a single entering the Billboard Hot 100 and topping it. Another reason why this feat is applaudable is because she is the first and only female rapper to do so. That aside, she has also made history by becoming the very first female rapper to earn a diamond plaque. All thanks to her 2017 smash hit “Bodak Yellow”.
As at this month, the single has sold more than 10 million units. As for feuding with fans and celebrities, Cardi B is no stranger. Some years ago, she was in a heated feud with another popular female rapper, Nicki Minaj. The bad blood has died down, and it seems Cardi B is winning the battle as far as the Billboard charts are concerned.
She also made headlines when she called out her then-husband Offset, who is a member of the group Migos. She accused him of cheating several times, which led to frictions in their marriage.
