A 14-year-old Florida boy tragically died after he fell from an amusement park ride in Orlando, local sources reported.
Multiple people who witnessed the tragedy said the teenager was on the Orlando Free Fall ride at ICON park when he suddenly fell and was rushed to the nearest hospital around 11 pm on Thursday.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the boy eventually died from his injuries at the hospital. Witnesses called 911 to report the tragic incident after the boy flew off the tower attraction.
The boy’s identity has not yet been revealed by authorities.
The tragic incident remains under investigation, authorities said.
In 2020, a 21-year-old man, Jacob Kaminsky, fell to his death while performing maintenance on a different attraction at the same park.
