After posting a new video on Monday brandishing her new blonde look, Billie Eilish has revealed that she will release her second full-length album, named “Happier Than Ever,” on July 30, and will drop another melody on Thursday morning.
“MY NEW ALBUM ‘Happier Than Ever’ OUT JULY 30TH!,” she wrote on Instagram Tuesday. “This is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel. alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am too!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.”
In light of titles of the melodies from the collection (recorded underneath) and it’s unmistakably unexpected title (she appears in tears on the cover), the verses proceed with the dull — on occasion energetically dim — energy of her Grammy-clearing 2019 introduction full-length, “When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go?” It incorporates her two latest singles, “My Future” and “Therefor I Am,” albeit not her new coordinated effort with Rosalia. Like her introduction, it was composed and delivered with her sibling and melodic partner, Finneas.
