An Alabama corrections officer was busted for smuggling pornography into the Mobile County jail to sell to inmates, law enforcement said.
Frederick Johnson, a corrections officer at the Mobile County jail, is arrested and charged with 21 counts of promoting prison contraband for allegedly smuggling flash drives loaded with porn, phone chargers, cameras and a camera watch into the prison, the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office told WPMI.

Johnson was busted with the contraband on May 17 when the Mobile County Metro Jail conducted a random bag search as corrections officers entered the facility.

Investigators said that Johnson, who had worked at the jail for three years, was marketing the electronics to prisoners.
“This behavior will not be tolerated,” Sheriff Sam Cochran said in a statement. “We are constantly investigating how contraband is brought into our jail and if we find it is one of our employees then we will arrest him/her just like we would anyone else.”
