‘Bond girl’ and Charlie’s Angels star Tanya Roberts died on Saturday, 3rd of January 2021 at the age of 65 in Los Angeles, California.
According to her friend, Mike Pingel, Roberts collapsed inside her Hollywood Hills home on Christmas Eve while walking her dogs, and was immediately rushed to hospital and put on a ventilator. Unfortunately, she passed away on Saturday and her death was not related to COVID-19.
“I’m devastated. She was brilliant and beautiful and I feel like a light has been taken away,” Pingel told The Hollywood Reporter. “She was the sweetest person you’d ever meet and had a huge heart,” he said.
Roberts has appeared alongside famous actors such as Roger Moore in the 1985 Bond film A View To Kill and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis on the comedy from 1998- 2004.
Roberts was married to actor and screenwriter Barry Roberts who died in 2006. The couple did not have any children.
