American rapper Sean John Combs, also known by the stage names Puff Daddy or Diddy has join the End Special Anti-Robbery Squad or #EndSARS, a social movement in Nigeria that started on “Nigerian Twitter” opposing the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a unit of the Nigerian Police Force. It is a call to end police oppression and brutality in Nigeria.
Diddy revealed in a post on Instagram that Nigerian singer Burna Boy called him to let him know what is going on in Nigeria and he has decided to help in anyway he can.
“My brother @burnaboygram called me and let me know what is going on in Nigeria and it breaks my heart. I’ll help in anyway I can. This fight we are in is a global one. Our path forward is through unity. #ENDSARS ✊???”
Supermodel Naomi Campbell also lent her voice against sars brutality in an Instagram post Tagging Nigerian president Muhammadu Buhari.
