A Louisiana man has been accused of perpetrating hundred counts of first-degree rape, in addition to other charges.
According to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, the 38-year-old perpetrator, Israel Jermaine Williams, of Alexandria, was named a suspect after officers received a report regarding a sex trafficking of a minor that took place in Alexandria.
Following a lengthy investigation by at least four law enforcement agencies, Williams was busted and taken into custody on March 25. He is currently being held at the Rapides Parish Detection Center on a $5.4 million bond.
The charges against him include a hundred counts of first-degree rape, two counts of molestation of a juvenile victim under 13 years of age, obstruction of justice, issuing worthless checks, and contempt of court.
