The six high college students who tragically lost their lives in a crash with a semi-truck have been identified by school officials in a fresh report.
The six teenage victims have been identified as Addison Gratz, Austin Holt, Brooklyn Triplett, Gracie Machado, and Memory Wilson. The six girls perished in the horrific accident that occurred on a rural highway in the city of Tishomingo, the largest city in Johnston County, Oklahoma.
The young girls, aged between 15 to 17, were inside a four-seat compact car that was crushed by the semi-truck in Tishomingo.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol crash report, both the 16-year-old girl who was driving the car and a 17-year-old girl front seat passenger were wearing seatbelts. Four girls were sitting at the back.
The driver of the semi-truck was identified as 51-year-old Valendon Burton. According to the report, Burton was wearing a seatbelt and did not suffer any injuries in the wreck. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
No criminal charges have been filed against the truck driver, a spokesman for the OHP, Sarah Stewart, said.
