A Florida couple has abducted, chained, and tortured a man for over three days after the victim refused to admit to infidelity, authorities said.
Occius Dorsainvil, 56, and his wife, Marie Dorsainvil, 51, face attempted murder, kidnapping, and extortion charges after they forced the victim to drink bleach and threatened him with eating his own stool or be killed.
The fiendish methods of torture began in December last year when Marie asked the victim for a ride to her apartment; police told NBC Miami. Marie reportedly invited the victim to come inside her apartment. However, the victim declined, insisting that Marie is a married woman. She reportedly told the victim that her husband had traveled to Haiti, and the victim went in with her.
While the victim was sitting on the couch, Marie’s husband, Occius, reportedly entered the apartment with a gun. Occius allegedly threatened the victim and bound his hands and feet together with a chord, according to police.
The couple forced the victim to record a statement admitting that he was having a relationship with Occius’ wife.
Occius and his wife allegedly told their hostage that they would make him eat his own poop if he went to the bathroom. They said they would execute him if he refused to comply, cops said.
On the second day of his captivity, the victim reportedly refused to eat the food the couple offered him as he was afraid that it would make him have to go to the bathroom. According to the police report, the suspects added chains to the victim’s bindings and demanded $50,000 cash from him as well as the title to his car.
On the third day of his captivity, the victim was forced by the suspects to shower at gunpoint and then use his car to drive them to a location where they would free him. cops said.
Before they set him free, the duo allegedly forced the victim to drink from a container filled with bleach and Haitian rum, from which he passed out.
About thirty minutes later, when he awoke, the victim reportedly ran for help. The suspects were tracked down and apprehended. Police said the couple had confessed to the crimes.
On Friday, the pair appeared in a Miami-Dade courtroom, according to CBS Miami.
