A 63-year-old South Carolina woman is facing legal trouble after she was accused of biting a paramedic’s groin last month during a chaotic scene at a Charleston County jail, according to a report.
On the morning of Dec. 28, Gina Darlene McGehee dragged a family member to the police after accusing the unidentified individual of taking her cell phone without her permission and using it to look up inappropriate pictures, Live 5 News reported.
McGehee refused to show up at the Al Cannon Detention Center when she was called to come back, the news outlet reported. An arrest warrant was issued. When police brought her back to the facility, McGehee was accused of resisting arrest and allegedly swiped a stun gun from one of the officers.
She was eventually restrained. However, paramedics were called to the scene after McGehee held her breath for a while, the report said. She is accused of biting one of the responders in the groin area.
Among other offenses, McGehee was charged with assault and battery, and unlawful conduct toward a child.
