Jennifer Lawrence has found herself back in the spotlight, as she’s playing a role in the upcoming Netflix movie “Don’t Look Up.”
The 31-year-old Oscar winner recently revealed the reason why filming a scene from the movie with co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Timothée Chalamet — was pure and utter “hell.”
During a chat with Stephen Colbert on his eponymous talk show on Monday, Jennifer told the comedian that it was the most annoying day in her life.
The day the “Hunger Games” star was referring to was a scene that she was filming with DiCaprio, 47, and Chalamet, 25, in a car. “They drove me crazy that day,” Jennifer said.
“I don’t know what it was,” Jennifer continued. “Timothée was just excited to be out of the house [after the pandemic lockdown]. I think it was, like, his first scene. And Leo had picked the song that was playing in the car and was just, like, ‘You know, this song was about, you know, blah, blah, blah.’ ”
Jennifer also noted that she remembered being in absolute misery that particular day. “It was hell,” she said
However, in spite of the frustrating experience she had with her two male co-stars, the mom-to-be admitted it was “cool” to shoot with DiCaprio, Chalamet, as well as other famous actors and actresses, including Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Tyler Perry, and Chris Evans.
Jennifer’s appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” marks her first since 2019. During the interview, Jennifer opened up about her moment away from the spotlight.
“I think the things I learned are so deep and profound … that I don’t want to tell you,” she said. “I mean, it was really nice.”
