As any mother to a child knows, you certainly are a busy woman with so many on your to-do list. However, imagine having 21 babies of your own – that’s Kristina Ozturk’s life.
The 24-year-old mom of 21, from Batumi, Georgia, and her 57-year-old husband, Galip, a millionaire businessman, have spent $195,500 on surrogacy between March last year and July this year.
Originally from Russia, Kristina spends $96,000 each year on 16 live-in nannies. The nannies work tirelessly to take care of their mistress’ rapidly expanding brood.
Kristina has a 6-year-old daughter Victoria from a previous relationship who lives in the house. In addition, one of her husband’s nine older children also lives with them, meaning it’s 23 kids under one roof.
Moreover, Kristina insists she is a hands-on mom. She previously told The Sun that she is always busy taking care of the kids and doing all the things that mothers usually do.
However, Kristina said that the only difference between her and other moms is the number of kids. “Each day is different, from planning staff schedules to shopping for my family,” she said. Nevertheless, she told the news outlet that her days are never boring.
Kristina chronicles her daily life on Instagram, where she shares photos with her 160,000 followers. Some of the pictures show Kristina having hectic mealtimes, playing with the kids, and taking them out for walks in a whole fleet of double prams.
In a recent Instagram Q&A, she explained how their lives really work.
Kristina says:
“We usually feed the children in due time, and we have dinner together with my husband very late. On weekends, we eat together, spend time alone as much as possible, which is why Sunday is a day off on the blog so that we can be just a family without prying eyes.”
Their nannies work a rolling schedule of four days on, two days off, and all live-in, with bedrooms near the kids. Each of them also has their own kitchen where they can prepare any meals.
When asked how it works and if each nanny is “assigned to a particular child,” Kristina said: “No, there are no bindings. During the day – of course, a specific one is responsible for a specific child. But during the week, the nannies change.”
When asked if she can really afford to “spend quality time” with each of her kids, Kristina replied: “Many times I have been asked how I have enough for each child, whether I devote time alone to each. Yes. We have a special bond with every child. I wish every parent to be able to spend all their time with their children because this is the most important thing in life.”
