A Maryland man thought his pharmacist brother was “poisoning” people by administering COVID-19 vaccines, and he killed him. Cops, on Friday, have arrested Jeffrey Burnhamin in West Virginia for the deaths of his brother, sister-in-law, and an older woman. NBC News reports.
Burnham’s brother, Brian Robinette, 58, and his sister-in-law, Kelly Sue Robinette, 57, were found dead last Thursday in their Ellicott City home by cops after they were fatally shot. According to a court document, Burnham got angry at his brother’s role in doling out the COVID-19 vaccines and wanted to confront him.
“He wanted to confront Brian with the government poisoning people with COVID vaccines. He repeatedly stated Brian knows something, Burnham’s mom told cops, per WUSA’s report.
Prior to fatally shooting his brother and sister-in-law, 46-year-old Burnhamin killed Rebecca Reynolds, an 83-year-old elderly woman who was found dead in her Cumberland home with apparent trauma to her body, police said. After killing her, Burnham stole the elderly woman’s 2020 Lincoln and drove it to the second crime scene two hours away, WUSA reports.
After the double slaying, NBC News reported that Burnham allegedly stole his brother’s Corvette and then stopped at someone’s home to ask for gas. He promised the owner of the house that he would soon appear on TV and that his brother was terminating people’s life with the COVID shot.
Burnham faces charges of murder and vehicle theft. He was apprehended in the 2007 red Corvette he stole from his brother’s home after the double slaying. Cops found a gun inside the Corvette as Burnham was targeting three other victims. Burnham remains held without bail.
