During a news conference held on Sept. 28, Gabby Petito’s family showed off tattoos they collectively got to honor the life of their beloved daughter. ‘I wanted to have her with me all the time,’ says Nicole Schmidt, Petito’s mother.
The tattoos, which also feature some of Petito’s artwork, read: “Let It Be,” “Believe.” According to the family, they got the matching tattoos this week. The conference was held in Bohemia, New York, where a new foundation was opened in Petito’s name. Family attorney Richard Stafford made the announcement.
Stafford accused Laundrie’s family of hiding their son, as the family continued to keep silent on their son’s whereabouts. Moreover, Stafford asked Laundrie to turn himself in.
“The Laundries did not help us find Gabby. They sure are not going to help us find Brian. For Brian, we’re asking you to turn yourself into the FBI, or the nearest law enforcement agency,” Stafford said.
New documents also show Brian Laundrie and his parents went camping after Petito was missing. Also, a Louisiana man said he talked to Brian Laundrie days before Gabby Petito’s disappearance.
