Former President Donald Trump beats Democratic incumbent President Joe Biden as the favorite to win the 2024 U.S. election in a national Emerson College Poll. The Poll finds that if the two men were to be the eventual nominees in 2024, Trump would be slightly favored with 47 percent against Biden’s 46 percent.
Sixty percent of Democratic voters said they would like to see Biden as the 2024 presidential nominee, while 67% of Republican voters said they would vote for Trump. The Poll finds.
When asked which president holds the most responsibility for the war in Afghanistan, 49 percent of the voters think President George W. Bush holds the most responsibility. Twenty-four percent think it is President Joe Biden. 18 percent believe it is Barack Obama, while 10 percent say President Donald Trump holds the most responsibility.
The Poll finds President Joe Biden with a split job approval among registered voters: 47% disapprove and 46% approve of the job he is doing as President.
After losing the presidential election to Biden in 2020, Trump dropped several hints that he may run again in 2024.
