Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she was contacted by Meghan Markle among others after losing her baby Jack in October last year.
Chrissy Teigen and Meghan Markle experienced the same misfortune in 2020 after both women lost their unborn child. The 35-year-old model and wife of musician John Legend announced in October 2020 via Instagram that she had lost her son, Jack , while in the 20th week of her pregnancy.
After breaking the news of her miscarriage, Teigen has received many messages of support from family and friends, including a special one signed by the hand of Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle, who also had a miscarriage last July.
Chrissy spoke warmly of Meghan during an appearance on the Watch What Happens Live! aftershow. “Yeah, she’s been so kind to me ever since we connected,” Chrissy said of Meghan. “She had written to me about baby Jack. But yeah, she is really wonderful and so kind – just as kind as everyone says she is.”
Chrissy Teigen, a defender of the Duchess of Sussex
The cookbook author has already defended the Duchess of Sussex on several occasions, notably when the Times magazine reported in March that a complaint for moral harassment had been launched in October 2018 against Meghan Markle by one of his senior advisers at Kensington Palace. In 2018, the American model and television personality also publicly attacked Meghan Markle’s father, who said in an interview that he regretted having little contact with his daughter since his marriage to Prince Harry. “This guy… this guy sucks. What’s wrong with him? Please let your daughter be happy, it’s embarrassing, ”she wrote on Twitter.
