Before and after photos of a young Vietnamese man who goes by the name Đỗ Quyền went viral on social media in Asia after the 26-year-old man revealed his new face that looks nothing like who he was before undergoing surgery. Yuen’s shocking and dramatic transformation comes after he was unable to find a job despite so many attempts. Plus being laughed at by job interviewers just because he doesn’t have a handsome face.
Đỗ Quyền posted the transformation photos on TikTok and the difference shocked people as many could hardly believe that this was the same person. Quyền admitted to have undergone nine major surgeries and spent over $17,000 to get the perfect look that will land him his dream job. Surgeries he underwent include but not limited to, rhinoplasty, chin implants, tooth veneers, lip reshaping, double eyelid and lip injections. “I just want to be satisfied and confident enough,” he said.
“The first time I came home after surgery, my parents couldn’t recognize me.” Đỗ Quyền said he could not hold back his tears even though he had anticipated it.
He admitted that even though there were bad comments about his plastic surgery, he doesn’t regret making such decision. He believes that people should do whatever it takes to make themselves feel comfortable.
Yuen’s decision might not be the possible best next option because it is what you have on the inside that matters not what is on the outside. Currently, Đỗ Quyền works as a makeup artist in Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam. He continued to document his life on different social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
