Good news! Meghan Markle is expecting her second child with husband Prince Harry. Mag Grand can confirm that 2-year-old Archie is going to be a big brother this year as his younger sister or brother is on the way.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the joyous news on Sunday with a spokesperson who said: “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child.” The couple shared an intimate black-and-white photo that shows them sitting under a tree, smiling at each other, with Markle, 39, resting her head on Harry’s lap and caressing her bump.
We’ve been told by an insider that the photo was taken remotely by longtime friend and photographer Misan Harriman. NYT bestselling author Emma Lord jokingly praised the photo in a tweet on Sunday that reads: Sorry to anyone who spent a long time shopping for valentine’s day gifts because this picture of Meghan Markle and prince harry expecting baby number two is the best one anyone will ever receive.

Fans of the couple noted on social media that the Valentine’s Day announcement could be a nod to Princess Diana. Diana and Prince Charles announced, exactly 37 years ago on Feb 14, 1984, that they were expecting their second child, Prince Harry.
Harry, 36, has said in a statement in 2019 that he and Markle don’t want more than two children. Meghan also revealed in July last year that she suffered miscarriage while she and husband Harry were living in Los Angeles. Meghan was praised for narrating her “unbearable grief” and how she tried to keep a “brave face” in public in an honest essay written for the New York Times.
