Meghan Markle has spoken out in regards to changes made to son Archie’s birth certificate. She said Palace is behind the decision to change Archie’s birth certificate. The updated version of the document was published today.
A spokesperson for the Duchess of Sussex told Page Six on Sunday that the omission of her given name, “Rachel Meghan,” to Archie’s birth papers was a call made by The Palace. Senior Palace officials confirmed to the source that the change of names ‘Rachel Meghan’ to ‘Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Sussex’ on Archie’s birth certificate in 2019 was dictated by The Palace. This was not Meghan nor Harry’s decision.
A spokesperson for Meghan also slammed every negative comment made by the press after the news surfaced online over the weekend.
Meghan and Harry will hopefully be traveling together the The UK for some key Royal events in early summer.
