Just few weeks after she found love again by marrying her bodyguard, Pamela Anderson has been accused of being a “home wrecker” and breaking up a happy family of five years.
Pamela, 53, announced on Wednesday that she had married her “bodyguard” Dan, 40, on Christmas Eve, saying: “I’m exactly where I need to be — in the arms of a man who loves me.” But Dan Hayhurst’s ex named only as Carey, a mother of one, has spoken out, accusing Pamela of seducing her man.
Carey, 42 said she was still with her man Dan, 40, and she new nothing of their marriage until she came across the news online. “This is not the lockdown love story which is being portrayed, it’s all made up,” Carey told the Sun. She also revealed that Dan is a builder not Pamela’s bodyguard. Pamela only contracted him to repair her Canadian home.
“I decided to speak out because I want people to know that my almost five-year relationship, with three children involved, ended because of the affair Pamela and Dan started while he was still with me.” Carey said.
“It’s sad that people celebrate this and cheer them on, when it started with deceit, denials and life-shattering choices for all the people involved.”
Dan was a single dad of two when he met mum-of-one Carey five years ago. Carey moved in with him on the mainland in Squamish, Canada, helping to bring up his two young children.
“We did everything together, like family vacations, family fishing trips, we worked on family projects together. It was always us.” She said.
But that togetherness broke after Dan was hired as a building contractor to renovate Pamela’s house. Carey said she was shocked upon reading the news. “I had met Pamela and had gone to dinner with her. My daughter also used to work for her as a labourer. I couldn’t believe it.”
“Pam doesn’t have the best marriage track record, that’s for sure. So when Covid-19 is over, she can go back to travelling and whatnot, I really don’t see it working.” Carey told the Sun.
