Chadwick Boseman’s widow, Taylor Simone Ledward, 29, has been named the administrator of the late Black Panther star’s estate.
Shortly after the death of the Black Panther star on August 28th, 2020, his wife, Ledward, has filed a probate case in October since the actor died without a will. Her request was that the court name her as the administrator of her late husband’s estate with limited authority. On Thursday, November 19, the judge granted her legal request, Mag Grand confirmed.
Ledward listed the estimated value of Boseman’s estate as $938,500 in her initial filing.
According to his family, Boseman married his longtime love, Ledward, just months before his death. During their five-year relationship, the couple kept their life fairly private but were spotted together at many events. Boseman did not have any children with Ledward before his death, but his parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, are also listed as surviving family members.
