Zendaya makes history as the coolest girl in Hollywood as she graced the cover of Elle USA for the magazine’s December/January issue, wearing a series of bold looks styled by American stylist Law Roach and photographed by Micaiah Carter.
Zendaya, whose full name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman made history on Sunday, 20 September as she won her first Emmy Awards for outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her work on Euphoria.
For the cover story, the 24-year-old, youngest-ever lead actress in a drama series talked to her ‘Dune’ co-star Timothée Chalamet about making art in a pandemic and the importance of joy.
“I experience moments of joy when I’m able to create art and be involved in projects that I connect to deeply, whether it be Euphoria or Malcolm & Marie, the movie I shot during quarantine with Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. Another thing that gives me joy is seeing people’s responses to my work. With Euphoria, it’s been incredibly moving to see how people connected to what Sam has written. I’ve heard so many beautiful stories about addiction and recovery, and that brings me hope.” Zendaya told Chalamet during the interview.
Zendaya shared the cover photos with her fans in a tweet on Tuesday.
